Media Blasting
Dry ice, soda and walnut shell blasting to strip contamination without damaging the surface underneath.
Illustrative imageWhere fire, soot, or heavy staining has taken hold on masonry, timber, or machinery, conventional cleaning or abrasive sandblasting can do as much damage as the contamination itself. Media blasting gives us a way to strip back residue without harming what's underneath.
Depending on the surface, we select from dry ice blasting, which sublimates on contact and leaves no secondary moisture or residue — ideal around electrical equipment and machinery — through to soda or walnut shell blasting for masonry and timber, calibrated to lift contamination without abrading the substrate.
All blasting work is carried out in contained, negative-pressure work areas with full PPE, keeping dust and residue out of the surrounding building. It's often the difference between restoring a structure or piece of machinery and having to replace it outright.
