Spa Cleaning

Deep hygienic cleaning of wet areas plus stone floor and cladding restoration for spa environments.

Spa environments bring together constant moisture, bare-footed high footfall, and chemically treated water — a combination that lets bacteria, mould, and biofilm take hold quickly if cleaning only skims the surface. We deep clean and disinfect every surface bathers come into contact with, from pool surrounds and wet areas through to changing rooms, treatment rooms, saunas, and steam rooms, to a genuinely hygienic standard rather than just a visibly tidy one.

Floors take the brunt of the wear in any spa, and we treat them as a restoration job, not just a clean. Natural stone and slate flooring worn dull by chlorinated water and constant foot traffic is reground and repolished to bring back a slip-resistant, presentable finish, with recolouring or resealing available where the surface has become tired-looking rather than just dirty. Given how high the slip risk already is in a wet-floor environment, we can also apply the same non-slip treatments we use elsewhere, without affecting the finish.

Slate and stone cladding on walls is treated the same way — steam and mineral exposure over time leaves deposits and staining that a standard clean won't shift, so we deep clean to remove limescale and mineral build-up and restore the natural finish. Where a client wants to refresh the look entirely rather than simply restore it, we can also change the finish — moving to a honed, matte, or sealed effect — as part of the same visit.
